The prongs were bent and punctured through the box which made me nervous about installing. I used a pair of pliers and straightened the bend and installed all of the parts fairly easily. It was an easy fix really even though there are not any clear instructions. I wish there were a way to contact company directly about the damage. It is daunting and difficult to try and find replacement parts for electronics. After reading reviews and doing some google research (for correct part numbers, etc..), I was able to find this kit that literally brought my dryer back to life. I’m glad I purchased the kit instead of just the heating element. It was the thermostat that was bad in my dryer. This kit saved me 300 dollars!! It takes some time and dedication to replace the parts on an electric dryer but if you can muster the patience…
