Cheap or OEM, that is the question ORIGINAL REVIEW 5/22/13Our Kenmore Estate dryer stopped heating last week. I took it apart and found the heating element was broken in one spot. This is exactly what I needed for my Whirlpool dryer. I basically had my dryer stop heating, I checked continuity with a multimeter between each part (fuses, switches, and heating element). The element was the only one that failed. When I took it out I found the old one was snapped along the coil.
