Not genuine item. Loses suction. This aftermarket version is useless. It attached well but does not perform. Trying it on my car floor I was disappointed in the loss of suction with a DC59 on “Max” turbo setting. So, I bought the genuine Dyson attachment for $10 more (aftermarket was $20, Dyson $30 – both purchased on Amazon). Great for thin and narrow areas like on the sides of applicances! I use this tool with my Dyson DC45 Animal Cordless Vacuum. This tool is PERFECT for reaching those thin and narrow places I couldn’t reach before – like between the refrigerator and the wall, between the fridge and the counter, on the sides of the washer and dryer and so many other places.
