Incredibly quiet vent This hood matched our new electric flat top perfectly. Installation was a snap. I made two wooden brackets to hold it in place until the screw placements could be marked and installed. Only problem I see is that the fan seems underpowered, even on high, especially if it is to be vented outside. BTW – this model IS pre-punched for use with either the round or the rectangular outside venting if wanted. The finish was much better than expected for the price, as was the fit.
