This range hood houses an ultra quiet 400 CFM centrifugal motor dedicated to ridding your house of lingering aromas. Dual dishwasher safe aluminum grease filters help pull airborne grease while cooking. Made of high quality rust resistant stainless steel, these grease filters will outlast your home with regular cleaning. Four banks of LED illuminate the cooktop while a backlit touch screen display offers controls for lighting, timer, and 4 motor speeds. Furthermore, this range hood is covered by a three year parts warranty. The convertible system can be used ventless/ductless with a carbon filter for home with no available venting option. Think of it as a starter kit Think of this hood as a starter kit and you will have the proper mindset going in. It’s best feature is the price. (It was $299 when I bought it November 2014). I’m not sure where it’s manufactured but it’s a good bet where ever it is, they don’t speak, write or understand English – the directions are that ‘good’. The seller I’m guessing is the US distributor – they sell the stuff – period. There is no tech support to speak of, and if there is, they don’t let him talk on the phone…
decent and nice looking. Decent. There were a few issues including a screw hole that couldn’t be used with the included screws. I simply used a short sheet metal screw from the hardware store in those bad spots. Seems to pull a decent amount of air even though I put a lot of ducting.I didn’t use the included flex duct and used a nicer all metal semi rigid flex duct. I dont usually write reviews but I need to now. This was the cheapest hood I ever purchased. I was not expecting much but more then I received. Instructions are useless. It has 9 steps. At step 8 its directing you to step 11 if you have low ceiling. There is only 9 steps. I have 8 foot ceilings and to stay 30 inches above the range is really tight installation. I had to come up with some kind of system to be able to hook everything up and hang since the instructions are useless. Screws are…
