American Aldes Dryer Lint Trap – for drywall installation. Can be ceiling or wall mounted. 4″ Duct Collars on each side of trap. This secondary lint trap is intended for use when required in a Dryer Booster Fan application, as noted in the Dryer Booster Fan installation manual. Additionally, this secondary lint trap can be used in Dryer Booster Fan applications where excessive dryer lint generation is likely.This secondary lint trap is not intended for use without a Dryer Booster Fan, unless the application is approved by the dryer manufacturer and/or the local building inspector.

Dryer Lint Trap Installed this item by drilling holes in the back and fastening to board which fastens to the wall. It is white powder coated and has a metal screen which took a few minutes to figure out how to remove. You push down first then the top pops out then pull the screen out by moving the knob back up again to get it out of the bottom slot. Nice product but needs a few things to really be great… This is a must have if you have a middle-of-the-house location for your dryer and need a booster fan to remove the dryer exhaust from within your home. This lint trap collects lint before it gets into long runs of ducting in your attic or basement. So it keeps accumulation of lint close to the source where it can be easily handled.
