Well made and does exactly what its supposed to do every time Well this is the best rice cooker I have used. Seeing as my last rice cooker was only like 20 bucks brand new. It does exactly what is supposed to do every time it is supposed to do it. Which is steam rice thoroughly. I have been using it for a few months now and it’s holding up quite nicely. Good micom rice cooker for the price This Rice Cooker is so much more than just a rice cooker. It does numerous other tasks in my kitchen like making great oatmeal. The rice seems to always come out a bit sticky even though I rinse the rice prior to cooking and I use a top rated brand. It comes with a handy spatula and holder. Perfect size for a 2 family home. Makes excellent rice. My main complaint is that the oatmeal setting does not work well with steel cut oats. Running the oatmeal setting a second time seemed to do the trick though. The cooker seems a little small to me, but I switched from a 20 cup machine. The diameter of the cooking pot (7.25″) is smaller than I’m used to, making the steam tray not quite as useful as I’d hoped.
