The blue hue would make for an excellent accent light in my man cave where we use … High quality. I was concerned the fan might be too noisy for the room it’s in but it is extremely quiet. You can hear it if you stop to listen for it but it is virtually unnoticeable. I do wish it had a feature to turn the interior lights on so they remain on after the door is closed. Nice looking bev cooler Nice looking bev cooler. Although we have it set at 34 deg, we have a thermometer in there that says it is 36 degrees. It also makes a very low, deep sounding percussive sound. Hard to explain- Some people say they don’t hear it. But, others do. If I am in the room with the cooler & the room is quiet, the sound bugs me. The lock is a nice feature, being we have teenagers in the house. We moved the top shelf up one level, which allows us room for ancillary bar items such as cherries, limes, etc…
Spend the extra money over cheaper units – it’s worth it. You might see other coolers at $400-500. You might think that’s a better deal. NOPE.Pay close attention to the lowest temperature each unit can attain. Most of the cheaper models only get down to 39-42 degrees in actuality, regardless of what they say on the specs. If you want COLD beverages, this unit gets down to 34 degrees!
