WARNING: ALL HANDLES GET HOT ON THIS COOKER This multi cooker cooks great… it’s hot enough to sear meat and not have to use another pan, and I really love that I can use it as a slow cooker or roast or sear but… the entire unit gets HOT on the outside and the handles get HOT which I am not used to as the last multi cooker I had did not heat up on the outside and all handles stayed cool so if you get one of these make sure you have a pot holder handy, EVEN for the handle on the lid as the steam comes up and heats up that handle and it…
Love it, but have to replace insert too often I have many mixed feelings about this item. We love how it cooks, we love how big it is, and the nonstick insert. We lived in an RV for a year, and this was where we made grilled cheese, pancakes, etc and huge pots of chili and soups. We tried a cheaper version but the heating element was only hot on about 1/3 the surface. What we HATE about this otherwise perfect cooker is that the insert seems not very durable.
