Give Black and Decker a try! Very nice iron at a bargain price. I have purchased 2 other steam irons in the past 7 or 8 years. Both were a “premium” brand made in Germany. I wanted a really good iron, since I had never really had a decent iron in my adult life. Can beat any expensive iron any day!! This is a great iron for a great price! Prior to pitching this iron, I previously owned two Rowenta irons. I thought that paying more equated with better quality. Not the case with this iron! This iron produces a stronger and even force of steam. I don’t have to reap teddy go back and forth over the same spot like I did with the Rowenta irons. Also, the non-stick surface on this iron holds up to its non-stick description.
