Give Black and Decker a try! Very nice iron at a bargain price. I have purchased 2 other steam irons in the past 7 or 8 years. Both were a “premium” brand made in Germany. I wanted a really good iron, since I had never really had a decent iron in my adult life. I do a lot of ironing, compared to most people, because I love freshly ironed cotton blouses with blue jeans as my standard outfit. Both of my expensive irons did a good, but not great, job.
