It’s worth every penny I was really nervous buying this brewer because of others reviews. I had bought a Mr. Coffee and put hot water in as they suggested before using. With two hot water cycles, it left my backsplash wall and my upper cupboards wet (even pulled away and out from the cupboard). It was nearly as expensive as the Bonavita. Great coffee from a simple, elegant machine I’ve owned this for 3 weeks and am very happy so far. The coffee brews true and tastes much better than an old Cuisinart Grind N’ Brew I’ve had for years. It seems that they’ve fixed 2 of the complaints people had with the 1900 model. This carafe is 1.3 liter whereas the old carafe was 1.7 liter. The smaller carafe retains heat better. Also, this one pours correctly and does not leave extra ounces in the bottom as some people have written about the old carafe. The filter basket now…
