The 42000 series offers an effective and durable under-the-cabinet hood solution for vertical discharge installations. The range hood is designed for 7-Inch round vertical duct attachment. The hood comes in a variety of appliance matching colors and widths, and features a fan designed for years of trouble free service, an easy to clean grease filter, an easy to clean grease filter, a protective lamp lens that distributes light evenly over the cook-top and control switches for fan speed and light activation. Includes built-in 7-Inch duct adapter. Installs as 7-Inch round ducted only. 190 CFM, 6.0 Sones (vertical discharge) performance. HVI 2100 Certified. Dishwasher-safe aluminum grease filter. Accepts up to 75-Watt light (bulb not included). Built-in 7-Inch adapter. BP87 dampers sold separately. This range hood can work in an ADA-compliant application.

Broan 423604 vented hood Installed the Broan 42000 series Economy vented hood today. I removed a late 80″S Nutone Economy vented hood. The vertical outlet cutout had to be moved forward approx. 1/2 inches using the new vent as the template, after removing the fan motor and marking the cutout from below through the flange. The mounting screws actually lined up with the existing holes. The wiring knockout lined up like the old vent. I am pleased so far with operation of the new vent and the appearance matches the…

Does All I Want From It This is supposed to be the cheap choice for cheap people like me, I suppose. However, it does everything I want in a hood. The fan quickly clears the fumes or smoke from the stove top. The light is bright. The fit and finish are perfect.Installation was simplicity itself although the supplied instructions were fantastically elaborate. I just screwed it to the cabinet bottom aligning the vent in the hood to the vent in the cabinet. My house came with a 120 v 20 amp outlet in the…
