Product was easy to install as it seemed to be an updated … Product received as advertised. As to another review saying that the product did not have the adapter for a round vent, the cutouts on the unit were for either a rectangular or circular vent, but overlapped. The product worked well for me. I wanted an LED light but the hoods I had looked at in a retail outlet in black and the size I needed were only available with halogen lights. Updated! I purchased this to replace an old hood that did not match the kitchen and probably dated from the 1970’s. I am very happy with this unit. It does not extend as far out from the cabinet as the old on, it uses a regular bulb (I use a compact fluorescent), and the filter screen is smaller. Does not include 7″ round adapter I installed this hood today and had to drill some holes in the sides due to the existing cabinet configuration. This hood replaced a similar, 32 year old Nutone hood with a 7″ round duct. The information given here states that a 7″ round adapter is included. But, IT IS NOT included, and the owners manual and installation instructions DOES NOT list the adapter as part of the package, and the specification sheet states that the adapter must be purchased.
