The F40000 series provides installation flexibility with 4-way convertibility to fit virtually all applications. The hood is designed for under cabinet use and installs as 3-1/4-Inch x 10-Inch ducted opening with vertical or horizontal ducting; or 7-Inch round vertical ducting or as non-ducted with air recirculation. The hood features a fan designed for years of trouble free service, an easy to clean grease filter, a protective lamp lens that distributes light evenly over the cook-top and control switches for fan speed and light activation. Four-way convertible; installs ducted 3-1/4-Inch x 10-Inch (vertical and horizontal), 7-Inch round (vertical) and non-ducted. Non-Ducted Filter sold separately – Model 41F. 160 CFM, 6.5 Sones (3-1/4-Inch x 10-Inch discharge) or 190 CFM (7-Inch round discharge) performance – HVI 2100 Certified. Dishwasher-safe aluminum grease filter. A protective lamp lens distributes light evenly over the cook-top and accepts up to 75W bulb (bulb not included). Good Bargain!! Not shiny like in the picture. Having to repeatedly polish it to get it to look more like the other appliances. But for the price and the flexibility with the installation options it can’t be beat. Other oven hoods were priced 50 to a 100% higher. Make note that the back piece that goes against the wall is painted in a “Black Enamel Gloss”. However all of our appliances are a combination of Stainless Steel and Black so it worked. Not alone Do yourself a favor and have another person there to help. Knucklehead me tried to install it alone and scratched my brand new stainless range, the hood AND the damned wall. The. Hood is decent quality. Looks good. However, the hole for the external air vent does NOT match the old vent. it is a couple inches off. So I removed the mounting screws and just shoved it in then mounted the hood. As another rater said the stupid little piece of plastic the supply to cover the internal vent in…
