Recommended even if expensive and not perfect This is a solid recommendation even if not a five-star review. I have a Waring juicer but it’s a pain to clean and I wanted to juice more. The Waring slows down quickly when you press carrots through; the Champion has a much stronger motor and retains its speed. With the augur and feeder removed and stored, the sturdy base doesn’t take any mor counter space to store. Cleanup is much easier. My wonderful Champion Juicer broke! …. after 25+ years. After 25+ years my ugly brown (when ugly brown was a color choice) Champion Juicer juiced it’s last (2 gallons of fresh tomato juice from our tomato garden and a gallon of watermelon juice). The motor still works like new, the problem is with 2 of the 3 hooks that hold the juicer head failed.
