Strengths and shortcomings This is a rebrand from the same manufacturer that makes the popular Hamilton Beach 0.7 cu ft model sold by Walmart., and also the Mainstays brand. The sound of silence! I think microwaves should be required by law to have a mute feature to silence the beeps. I returned another 700w microwave I bought locally because it didn’t have this feature, and a couple other dislikes. The primary reason I bought this microwave was because of the mute feature!
