PERFECT FIT for my 1971 Penncrest Blender!! This is an often overlooked part of a blender, yet it does a very important job of keeping the blended stuff IN the blender rather than letting it leak out around the base of the blending cup. It feels like a silicone rubber gasket. Note: After you use the blender, you should take the base off and clean both the blender blades and the base of the container as well as the gasket. This particular product is well made and doesn’t leak. One would recommend a yearly replacement of this gasket…
