Makes good tasting hot coffee but bottom rusts UPDATED Jul 2015 details below, went from 4 to 2 stars. Unit does not last w/o problems.Have had this unit for 6 weeks and it makes good quality coffee that stays hot for at least the 2-3 hours we linger over our 3 cups each (6 cups total or I should say MUGS since 10 cups in the carafe converts to 6 of our medium sized mugs). I loved it sooo much that I went on Amazon and … Here’s the thing. We have this exact one. I thought it had stopped working after 7 years…but I’d actually just unplugged it. Yes, I know. I loved it sooo much that I went on Amazon and ordered another one. I then brought the old one out and plugged it in to confirm that it indeed was dead. It sprang to life instead.
