Nice vent but smaller than advertised One of the reasons I chose this vent was that it claimed to be 30 in wide, I didn’t want the gaps up either side of it. Unfortunately it is not 30 inches wide it is only 29 1/2. I had to make filler blocks and finish them to match the cabinets to fill the gaps I also had to shim it out cuz it’s not as deep as it says either. It turned out okay but was a lot more work. The parts of the hood that are exposed are non-magnetic stainless and have a nice finish. The clock loses time and has to be set…
