This “spill protector” does not work on my older Dacor electric smoothtop built-in. I was hoping to find a replacement for the soft foam gasket which sits under the knob and keeps spills from leaking into the electronics. But the gasket material on this product is integrated into the hard plastic flange, can’t be separated out, and is the wrong size.I ordered from Amazon expecting to be able to return the part if necessary.
