No more defrosting the solid block of ice freezer section! You can buy a combo unit instead, btut I wouldn’t. Get this and a similar (or smaller/larger) freezer. Why?I’ve been through a couple of mini combo’s and am here for the same reason as you: 1) The mini fridge super mini freezer section sucks. The thing on top/bottom stays half frozen, but HagenDaaz melts. And after a while, it’s iced completely and the milk seems suspicious warm. So you have to defrost it. Good fridge with a large range of temperatures inside. There’s a lot to like about this fridge. Great beer fridge I purchased this fridge for my beer collection, and it works nearly perfectly.The top shelf holds two 64oz growlers, plus sixteen or so 12oz bottles, or a few 22oz ones. The bottom shelf doesn’t hold bottles, but takes eighteen or more 16oz cans.The rear half of the middle shelf, slightly annoyingly, sits a bit high and won’t accept most 12oz bottles without a bit of force.
