I use this mainly for soup/stew, and sometimes rice. It takes about 20-25 minutes for 1 serving of rice. However, if the pot is 3/4 full, it really takes slightly over 30 minutes for the soup to boil. Also, it does not convert to warm unless it is running out of liquid. Nonetheless, manually switching it to warm status makes it kind of a slow cooker without another appliance which served my purpose. Easy to clean. I wish the steam tray would be a little deeper to make 1 rice serving so…
