Fit nicely into our standard dryer vent
Great for replacement flaps but would not install this in new construction This vent hood was installed in our addition and trimmed into the exterior siding. When the flaps got brittle and broke after only a few years we had to figure out what to do. Replacing the entire unit for a more durable model would require significant trim removal, replacement, caulking and repainting – was not looking forward to that!! Thankfully we found this exact match on Amazon and was able to pop out the old brittle flaps and replace with the new ones. We will likely need to do this…
