Very quiet and works very well! This dishwasher is just what we needed for our kitchen since there was no place to install an under the counter model. I went a step further by eliminating the drain hose hookup and making mine permanent on the countertop by drilling a 1″ diameter hole through the countertop behind the dishwasher and running the supply water and drain hose direct to the hot water connection at my sink and to my drain connection respectively.
