I love this pressure cooker and often need the larger size. I already have the 8 quart Elite pressure cooker, and wanted another that could cook larger quantities. I have been very happy with the 8 quart cooker, and this one is just as good and expands the quantities that I can cook. At this point, I have a few different pressure cookers that cook different quantities, and this one has expanded the amounts that I can cook. The best electric pressure cooker I’ve tried I have three electric pressure cookers (including one from TV). I like this one the best, easy to use, stainless steel lid and non-stick interior pot qt. I can make large batches of soups, stews, etc. It also holds 3 quarts jars or 6 pint jars for canning. I’ve never canned much because a stovetop pressure cooker or boiling water pot heats up my kitchen too much, in the summertime when most of the local fruit is ripe.
