Seem to be exactly the same as the original cuisinart filters. I happened to have a pack of original Cuisinart filters and compared these cheap knockoffs to them. They appear to be identical in size, weight and composition. They ARE smaller than the Cuisinart brewer basket but so are the originals, even the ones that came in the box with the brewer. So I don’t think they’re intended to fully block the water intake but for the water to flow over them.The price is definitely right. A little charcoal and some fabric shouldn’t cost as much as…
