Large capacity & excellent results I absolutely love this food dehydrator! I has a much smaller one that couldn’t hold much and it was frustrating to go to the effort to prep food to dry only to be able to do so little of it at a time, so I took the plunge and bought this Excalibur model and am so happy I made the change. This dehydrator fits on my kitchen counter under the cabinets just fine and it has enough capacity to do a five pound bag of sliced potatoes plus several trays of other produce at the same time. Love this thing. What a great product. We have owned several dehydrators over the years, Started with a Ronco and the last one was an American Harvest. The other ones were all round and all had one major flaw. The racks set right over the motor and eventually the drippings destroyed the heater. I have made jerky in this several times and appreciate this dehydrator every time I use it. The heater and motor set in the back on this one and there isn’t any way for anything to come in contact with them. I only wish…

Making my wife happy was worth the $50 price difference vs the non-timer…
