A seemingly common issue on my “stainless” like Frigidaire dishwasher was that it wasn’t drying (i.e. the heating element wasn’t functioning). Upon inspection under the dishwasher, with the breaker to the dishwasher turned off, the back connection to this thermostat had burned, literally. The insulated connector was charred black, the metal destroyed under it, and the male connector on the thermostat was also destroyed.
