Deforms in no time Although cheap in price, they don’t last more than a few days until deformed beyond use.These were bought to replace a Waste King splash guard that deformed within a few months after install. Within a couple days the “fingers” began to curl in an upward direction exposing the drain resulting in splash back and excessive noise. Within a weeks time, all of those “fingers” were deformed to protrude straight up. I tried a second and then third one with same results.Not worth…
These fit perfectly the 3″ opening of my Sink Master food disposer. They are quieting and if necessary they allow food waste and scraps to be pushed into the grinding chamber and prevent unwanted items (spoons, bottle caps, plastic wrap) from damaging the item or the disposer. Water drains freely through the splash guard. They are easily replaced when gunky. Inquiry to the manufacturer listed in product literature that didn’t list an opening size was not helpful, so I ordered from this vendor…
