Too primitive of a design, bulky and annoying insulation, unusually soft copper This wire is ridiculous to work with if you’re not using it in the most common setup. I had to connect it to screw terminals on a plug. The copper inside is way too thick and unusually soft and fragile. When I used a razor blade to carefully strip the insulation it managed to put some surprisingly obvious cuts into the copper wire which I wouldn’t get stripping wires half the rating. The insulation itself is almost as if it was molded by primitive equipment 50 years ago. It’s not even round…
