Honestly it does a poor job at both.The sound deadening is noticeable but you certainly canât blend something with someone sleeping in the next room over. You will still have to hide in a room on the opposite end of the house or take it to the garage.The blending though…. it is WORTHLESS!!!! Actually, worthless is being kind…. it canât blend anything…

Sound Shield Blender This blender functions just a like a “regular” blender and can mix smoothes, crush ice and frozen type drinks with ease.
