- Sear/Sauté – Flexible temperature settings makes it ideal for simmering, caramelizing and sautéing vegetables, and searing meat. Temperature ranges from 250~425°F [120~220°C], you can easily adjust the time from 5 minutes to 1 hour, with a default time of 30 minutes.
- Stew – Temperature ranges from 175~210°F [79~99°C], you can easily adjust the time from 15 minutes to 4 hours, with a default time of 2 hours.

This is NOT a pressure cooker!
An upgraid from my 4 in 1 cooker It’s perfect I have years of experience with multi cookers and this is the best. It makes food for my family at the fraction of the time it would normally take. Unlike other Instant Pots, it has a glass lid so you can see what is going on with the food. (I prefer this over pressure cooking because you can adjust the seasoning as it cooks). An AMAZING Kitchen Appliance! People just need to read the description… So Instant Pot is a brand name, they make pressure cooking pots that cook “instantly,” but they do make other things! This is a lot of things, but it is not a pressure cooker (although we have 3 of their pressure cookers), the description explains all of the other things this cooker can do, so I will focus on my main use.
