You get what you pay for Filter looks like a Sears filter with appropriate labeling however it did not perform like one. The filter leaked into the cartridge compartment and the refrigerator. Reinstalled it at least 5 times, it would run correctly for a few times then I would have water leaking into the refrigerator compartment. Not the product I ordered! On Sept 10th I bought the air filters for the fridge & decided to be proactive & purchase the Kenmoreclear #9690 filter at the same time to have it on hand when it was ready to replace. When I attempted to install it I realized the connection was shaped slightly different & would not fit. On close comparison between the old & the new one I could see they were manufactured differently. Unfortunately I didn’t need it until today which is 14 days past the return date. This has happened twice…
