It works The new dryer is fantastic. Of course, I am jaded because it replaced another 30+ year old Kenmore that was going gradually, taking longer and longer to dry anything. I’m not sure what the smart dry technology is supposed to be. Most of the time it dries my clothes good. Other times they come out damp. There doesn’t seem to be much difference between low, medium and high heat. I put my fleece blankets in on low heat and check them every 5 minutes and even on low heat, they’re hot as blazes.
