Most of the noise generated by a range hood comes from the passage of air through the machine, not from the motor. To minimize noise, we recommend to use only the fan speed that is necessary. In vented installation, ensure that your vent to the outside is as direct and short as possible & minimize turns, and remove the included charcoal filters.

Hear the fan noise, See the lights brightness video I think this unit is a great value if you are going ductless. I included a video to see the brightness of the lights and hear the fan noise level. I would caution you if you installing a duct because the design of the chimney and vent connection doesn’t accommodate for this out of the box for this type of installation so I ended up needing to manufacturer a simply bracket.UPDATE: It turned out real nice after making up a custom little…
We love this vent hood and use it ductless This was part of a kitchen upgrade. I am extremely pleased with this exhaust fan. We’ve had it now for about 4 months and it works great. It also gives a nice professional look to the kitchen. We looked locally for these exhaust fans. I can’t figure out why but all the local stores want like $700 for an equivalent exhaust fan.
