Cooks well, but the finish durability is suspect I bought the Kitchenaid 30″ stainless steel downdraft model to replace a very old Jenn Air downdraft unit. The Kitchenaid cooktop fit well into the existing cutout, the burners are powerful, and it’s a good looking appliance. I’ve owned the unit for about four months, and I use it on a daily basis. The biggest problem I’ve encounter is with the finish. Kitchenaid touts that the finish has a protective coat that will guard against stains and discoloration. The cleanup had been pretty…
