KitchenAid Mixer Cover Review I was getting tired of having a dusty mixer so a cover was just the thing I needed! This cover is a heavy quilted cotton and very well made. It looks great on my mixer and in my kitchen. It has a side pocket that I use to store some recipe booklets and some of the beater attachments, the other attachments I leave in the bowl. Too short for stand mixers. KitchenAid offers poor explanation. This mixer does NOT fit the stand mixers, as it falls well short in length. (See pic.) I called KitchenAid customer relations and was told, “That is correct. It was originally designed for the tilt-head mixers, but is the only one that will fit the full width models. The other cover is fitted and kind of hugs the bowl. It only fits the tilt-head models.” Why KitchenAid can’t add an inch and a half to the cover’s length and make a true stand mixer cover is a mystery to me. I’ll be…
