Amazon selling Used/Refurbished as New? I speculate that Amazon is selling this KA mixer as new when it may actually be refurbished. After receiving two KA in antique copper here is why I think this:1. The first one I received has a motor issue and makes a loud grinding noise and smells like the motor is burning up. Nope It’s a kitchen aid so I expect quality.I really want to love this. The color is gorgeous, I love the color.Here’s why I don’t like it.The glass bowl connects to the mixer with this rubber rim. You twist the bowl to to secure it to the mixer using the rubber rim.Well the rubber rim comes off the glass bowl easily. And it’s difficult to put it back on. This has happenend multiple times. Definitely Used but Advertised as New 🙁 Unfortunately, like many others here, I received a mixer marked “new” that was clearly used. It was smeared with bits of dried food and what appeared to be butter? (ewwww). The color was stunning, but the mixer was clearly refurbished or returned. The head was squeaky, the food was dried in the parts, and the mixer itself clanked roughly when I turned it on to test it.
