We only noticed a problem after a visitor crammed oxiclean powder into the old one resulting in a constant backup at the soap dish. However I had noticed in the past that it seemed like too much water was in place when I went to fill for a new wash. Looking online for a solution I realized our little white cover had gone missing at some point. That little white cover is what helps create the needed siphon to suck all the soap and water out.
