Instructions how to make the kit yourself if necessary First off, I have an LG DLEX8000W, which is a 29″ wide dryer and I needed to right side vent it in a hurry. Kit does not work for bottom venting! This kit does not work for bottom venting a dryer. The instructions require you to cut the elbow according to Fig. 4 which has a 1/4″ picture of the elbow with a dotted line where it supposedly should be cut. Before cutting I called LG for hopefully a more precise measurement of where to cut the elbow because I didn’t want to make a mistake on a kit that cost me $60.
