Ultimately fits (with persuasion) It fits. But I did have to manipulate the fitting. It came warped. It is packaged in plastic wrapping and nothing else, so it could have bent in shipping or storage or both. So, basically, every time we open it to clean it of lint, we must reinsert the ends into the holes and maneuver the edges over the edge of the lint catcher.
