This is a nice unit. I replaced a 1/2 HP Insinkerator Badger … This is a nice unit. I replaced a 1/2 HP Insinkerator Badger that started leaking after about 10 years. This Moen unit wasn’t terribly difficult to install but there were a few things I would have like to know in advance (my fault for not researching 100%). 1) This unit has a plug, my Insinkerator was hard wired so I installed an outlet under my sink. 2) the standard water egress is directed down, my Insinkerator had a horizontal discharge so I had to make major drain adjustments. 3) The…
Great unit. Recommended Installed the product myself to replace a leaking InSinkErator device. Was a perfect match, same pipe alignment, same mounting. Bought some plumber putty and replaced the unit in 30min. It’s slightly smaller than the old one, MUCH quieter and seems to perform better (might be because it’s brand new).
