Thumbs up I already had the original broken coupling out and both the transmission and motor shafts cleaned up. I tried both halves of the new coupling on both shaft ends and in either case I could only get either one on about .125 even with light tapping. I did not want get the couplings stuck on the shafts so I pried them off. There were drag marks on the flats so I set to work with a small fine cut file. File a little off both sides of the flat, test fit, file again, test fit again, etc. until I had a…
It seems like I was the unlucky one but I bought this after my original part broke on my Kenmore 90 Series Washer, after working for 15 years. As others have stated, it was a very, very tight fit but I was able to get it on with light taps of a rubber mallet. But, it only lasted for a few weeks & the washer quit spinning.
