This Design is Borderline Hazardous I bought this to replace my old Mr. Coffee machine, and I’m disappointed that I did for these reasons:1. The filter basket is hinged on two plastic pins. It’s a fight to remove it (which has to be done to discard the used grounds and filter, and I suspect the pins will be the first thing to break. Very poor design. Simple, Reliable Pot of Morning Coffee I bought this coffee pot because I wanted a cheap and efficient model to brew up a large pot of coffee to drink while working at home. Well… it gets the job done. … Well…it gets the job done…just not as efficiently as I would have made it. It puffs out as much steam as it does water during brewing, it’s very noisy, and the pickup tube that channels the water from the reservoir to the top into the grains cup leaks water back into the water reservoir being counter productive. It gets the job done but really? Practically struggles doing so…Just keeps getting pathetically worse. Took a look inside the reservoir and find little white particles…
