Limited purpose mobile base. This is NOT a rough and tumble appliance moving dolly. It is primarily for residential appliances (washers, dryers, freezers and refrigerators) that you want to make locally mobile. In my case I have a stand-up freezer that has to moved out of the way fairly often to change the filters on my A/C air handlers. This mobile base serves the purpose very well, and doesn’t look obnoxious in the meantime; plus, I can spin the freezer around on its axis and clean the underneath coils and compressor…
Most important, it adjusts to a maximum of 21″. I bought this to raise a Whirlpool dryer off the ground and the distance between the “feet” of the dryer is 23.5″. I thought for sure if the telescoping measurement is a maximum of 28″ that would fit. It would not as the maximum measured distance is 21″. While you can increase the distance some that calls into question the strength of the platform. The safe way to get past the 21″ length is to make new dowels which is defeating the purpose of buying something premade in the first place…
