First one died in a week. Units do not maintain desired temperature well. I bought this unit due to the generally good reviews, and specifically since it would fit under my counter to replace an old Sub-Zero ice maker. It slid into place perfectly. It seemed to work for the first week, then crapped out completely and would not cool at all. When it did work, the temperature ranged from 36 to 42, mostly around 42 (I like my beverages pretty cold, and this was one that advertised it would keep it around 36).
