Extremely shoddy. Adhesive inside the carafe. Sending it back for a refund. I have used Cuisinart coffee makers for 30 years. As I was looking to purchase another one, I saw the Ninja had 5 stars and clicked on to review. I saw almost all the review writers got a free machine so ignored the reviews even though they are valuable to me. Mostly pros, but some cons, for this coffee maker. This is not a âpaidâ review. I bought this item. Opened box and washed removable pieces per the instructions to discover some sort of adhesive inside the carafe. Tried pulling it thinking it might just come off but it wonât come clean (see attached pictures). Looks like whatever they used to fix the plastic lip/handle assembly to the glass. Closer inspection showed excess of adhesive seeped between the handle and the glass, but at least that bit is not in contact with your coffee…
I’ve been using my Cuisinart coffee maker for ages. And I had another Cuisinart before it. It’s been interesting to see how the Ninja compares.There’s a lot to like about the Ninja.
