Finding the exact part on Amazon is super-convenient! The light lens on my Kenmore range hood discolored and eventually cracked in multiple places. After shifting to some excellent LED replacement bulbs, I decided to scrap the horrible original lens and replace it also. Has this faulty design been corrected now? I agree with the previous reviewer. I’ve installed 2 lens assemblies in the last 8 years. Both broke as I replaced a bulb because the plastic lens shield had become brittle with heat and age. An obvious manufacturer’s defect. But the replacement I received this time, in July 2012, came with a different plastic shield, softer and more flexible. Will this one last more than a few years?
