- Magnetic cookware, or more accurately, induction-capable, is needed for induction to work. If a magnet sticks to the bottom of the pot, it will work with an induction cooktop. Please make sure you have the proper cookware for it to function properly.

The Warranty Doesn’t Apply to Amazon The NuWave PIC was great while it worked. Being able to control the temperature in 5 degree increments was amazing. Then while I was making bacon one day in a large cast iron skillet I noticed that the bacon had stopped sizzling. I changed the temperature and hit ‘start’ and it resumed sizzling. Several minutes later it did the same thing again. No warning, no errors, the fan was still running. Just not heating the pan.I contacted NuWave and was told that their 1 year warranty only…
Things to consider – one of my best purchases! The box includes the cooktop, quick start guide, owner’s manual & cookbook book, instructional DVD and a 9″ Duralon ceramic frying pan.It appears to be of good quality. The control are easy to use. The feature that may prove the most useful is the ability to accurately control the temperature with the digital readout.The claims of boiling water quickly are exaggerated.
